What is the item that puts a mega-watt boost into your ability to be well? What is, in effect, rocket fuel for your efforts to eat healthier, move more, connect better, address your stress, simplify and more?

That item is mindset. No matter which pathway you’re focusing on, an empowered mindset is your secret tool. Without the right mindset, what you build is not as strong and not as likely to remain part of your lifestyle.

Let’s walk through a few of the pathways so I can show you:

Simplicity: Before you can successfully simplify your life, an adjustment to  your mindset is needed so you can believe that it’s okay for you to do so. That simple is still right. That more simple does not equal lazy or unsuccessful or unmotivated.

Movement: Mindset fuels movement when you discover your reasons for wanting — even liking — to move your body. When your mindset is set to the GPS coordinates for how and why you are motivated to move, the decision to do so is much easier.

Nutrition: One of the biggest mindset shifts here is that eating to fuel your health can satisfy your other needs and desires as well. We’ve too long believed that eating well equals boredom or complicated or expensive or tasteless. It’s none of those, but you have to buy into believing that first.

Play: Mindset comes in here when you give yourself permission to play. Just because it’s fun and freeing and/or just because it matters in your quest for wellness. If you think this is a silly waste of your time, that’s exactly where your mindset needs adjusted first.

You build mindset, just like you build wellness — step by step. Step by easy, simple step. Not from zero to 100 in a day.
