Ask the question

Many Questions BackgroundSee that? Yeah, that quote up there? That’s the wisdom I have for you today. Ask questions. Ask the question. Ask the other one. Ask again.

Why? (Oh, good, you asked a question.) Because I think a ton of us would be healthier if we’d ask more questions. Not accept anything as status quo. Nothing should be status quo when it comes to you being well. ‘Cuz, well, you are unique.

You need to question those things you’re told you have to do to be well. You need to question anyone’s advice, white coat and initials or not. You need to question treatment, screenings, tests. You need to ask ,”Why?” a little more often. You need to find out how something may help you. And how it may also harm you.

You being well depends on this so much. The people who become patient patients often aren’t well. Oh, sure, surviving. But not well. Be the obnoxious patient. “They” won’t like you, but you’ll better protect your health. We all need someone solely dedicated to being in our corner. That person is … you.
