Resolutions, smesolutions. Who wants them? Who needs them? How much do you hate January every year and want it to be over just because of all the blasted resolution talk? Like everyone in the world — ‘cept you — created magnificent resolutions for 1/1 and are now gloriously achieving them. Right? No, not right and not true most of the time.

What’s true for most of us is that we try. We have good intentions. We want it. But we don’t know how to create change. We make it too difficult. Too big. Too impossible.

So, let’s break all those stupid rules together, okay? Enough of this beating yourself up, you aren’t good enough, you’re a failure stuff. You aren’t. You just need to try it a different way.

Here’s the way:

The way is to find the small steps that matter for YOU, learn how to fit them easily into your life AND how to tweak them so, maybe — just maybe —  you even look forward to them. Gasp! Do that along with my support and this formerly difficult thing becomes simple and enjoyable. Our way will be a month-long group program that includes all this info — including YOUR unique report on what most will impact your life in a great way — and all the support. Along with a place to ask questions, too, so there’s all the help you need.

We’re starting May 8th. Yep, not the first day of anything, just a regular ol’ day. A day that’s as good as any other to create change. I’m purposely setting it that way to get rid of this idea that we must start January 1st. Or Monday. Or the start of some other month. Or the first day of spring. Or whatever-the-hell. Or even the beginning of the day! It’s 2:16 p.m. and you get a great idea about some small change? DO IT!! Right then while you have an idea, and you’re motivated, and you haven’t yet beaten all that nice enthusiasm completely out with an overplanned, overwhelmed stick.

What’s the one thing that matters most for you to be well?

What will you get in our month-long group? Along with all of the below, you’ll finally find out where your energy is best spent in your quest to be more well. Focus on ONE thing, not 400. Stop spending your time and money trying to work out more or eat better when, in fact, what you may need most is to clean up connections. (Yes, connection can both enhance your health — even more so than some standard categories — and destroy your health. What does what? Why? Find out in our group.)

Who wants to kick overwhelm’s ass?

What this also does is remove overwhelm. We all are doing too much. We need a breather. Some room to think and play and try. This gives you that. You’re only focusing on one simple change at a time in just the one area that my assessment shows needs your attention. Nothing more. That’s plenty, and that will help. It’s a small step, but, hey, you know where small steps lead you? To exactly where you want to go. MUCH better, much easier and much more likely than any big leaps.

I want to talk WITH you, not AT you

The love and support for you is being poured into our private group as part of my realization of how much I adore helping people directly. One day, I thought to myself, “I so much more want to talk WITH people, not AT people.” And so that’s why this is what it is. In our group. we’ll talk WITH each other. You’ll get near one-on-one attention and support from all of us, which will help you clarify what you are doing, get motivated and actually stay in action vs. reading something that you too-soon set aside.

Your individual information and go to items come in emails from me. Not some assistant, not an email to everyone all the same. An email from me to you. I so want you to get everything you can out of this. AND, just as important, come out feeling absolutely great about yourself. That might be my main goal. It’s a start in looking at wellness in a different light and helping to build you back up.

A general overview of what you get in this group program:

  • A cool assessment! I’ll show you in a graphic created just for you exactly where you’re doing great (so you don’t even need to worry about those sections) and where you want to focus most. We’re not looking for perfection, remember? We’re looking for reasonable balance.
  • A set of emails to guide you through the 4-week process, including ones with your specific findings and ideas for the things that will help YOU most. No, not everyone and their brother. YOU.
  • One audio you can listen to over and over that will celebrate you and encourage you on your way if/when you’re needing a boost.
  • Total support from me and others in our own secret Facebook group that is completely confidential. What is said there … stays there. So you can feel free to yell for joy and be roundly cheered, and you can just as equally be able to ask for support when life feels hard and know we have your back. You can ask questions. (No question — not one damn question — is a stupid question. ASK it!) You’ll get extra info and tips and inspiration.    

 When the group officially starts, you’ll get an email from lil’ ol’ me that gives you:

  • Enthusiasm, education and motivation along with information about my 9 building blocks of wellness.
  • What your assessment revealed about your most needed building block to be well along with …
  • Around a half dozen ideas of simple, put-in-place-right-now-easily things that will boost that building block so it better shores up how well you are.
  • You’ll choose only ONE of these at a time to focus on and place naturally into your life. (I’ll give you more ideas on how to do that, too.)
  • Plus, we’ll talk about those building blocks in our private group; I’ll answer questions; we’ll celebrate; and we’ll support each other when/if the going feels a little tougher.

How you’re still supported as the group continues:

  • You’ll get a mid-month audio from me to encourage you, help you celebrate, provide more motivation, help lift you up if you’re growing discouraged. No one falls through the cracks here.
  • Continuous support and help and ideas via the group, which includes me taking part, not just leaving you there to chat politely (or not) amongst yourselves!

What you learn and find out as the month wraps up:

  • You’ll get a new email and link that lets you re-take the wellness assessment
  • After you take that, you’ll get an email from me that tells you about these new results. Where did you get? What else happened? I’ll show you! This is your UNIQUE information. It isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s YOUR assessment and your findings and your work. What I send you is created for you alone, not everyone else.
  • More information to help you continue this process. Keep taking those steps. Ones that are in the right direction, and, even better, ones that are totally take-able. You’ll be walking down the right path this time, and you’ll know how to stay on your wellness path. If you stray? Totally okay, you’ll know how to find your way back.

What I’m about

A short bit about me: I’m so damn tired of how often we are browbeat into wellness. How we then feel not good enough. How it feels impossible or near. How defeated we often can get. How does that help?? Instead, I want to introduce you to support and ideas that lift you up and show you the possible, not kick you down. You’ll operate better — and more likely continue — with small successes, not giant leaps that leave you out in thin air, unsupported and flailing.

And, just so you know? Been there, done that. Always there and doing that. I am a work in progress just like most other humans. Oh sure, there are those who either are or seem to be perfect at this. Kudos to them if they are. Bah humbug if they aren’t and hiding it so you buy their stuff. I’ve did this work because I got damn over being seriously ill at worst and just not feeling my best at least. I keep doing it because, as a fallible human, I goof up. I stray. I forget what I know, and I forget to do it. And also because I swear I’m a crazy scientist at heart so, when I do that, and then when I come back to what I know matters, I see the proof. Over and over. It’s motivation for me. The most important part, though? When I’ve strayed too far, I know what to do to help me get and stay well. I can’t tell you the peace of mind that brings. I want that for you, too.
