Why ask why?

Old Style Why?Motivation makes being well easier. Knowing your why creates motivation.

Why do you want to be well? No, dig deeper. Not the standard why. Not the responsible why. Not even the shallow why. The real why. The why that makes you catch your breath.

That’s the why that will keep pulling you forward. The why you can lean on when your desire gets foggy.

I can’t give you examples of why. They are as personal and unique as you are.

How to get to that why? Maybe a little easier to provide direction: Get quiet, most of all, so truth can come through the chatter. Quiet for a while. (It takes minutes or more for the chatter to shut the hell up.) Then see what pops up in your mind. And what else. And what else. Keep pushing through the initial stuff. Or journal it. Write and write and write until you’ve written away the non-whys, and you get to the real, meaningful, core why.

Why ask why? It’ll be your foundation for wellness that lasts.
